Press Release:
East Coast Christian Center Selects Mamba to Power Chruch Services
May 7, 2007. San Jose, CA: NetworkSound Inc, a leading provider of multi-channel audio, video and control over CAT-5/6, is pleased to announce that ECCC, Florida, has chosen NetworkSound's Mamba Digital Snake system to power Church Services.
ECCC is a large church located in Florida with many events and church services scheduled throughout the week. The stage audio has to be distributed to Monitor Mix, FoH and Simulcast (recording etc) locations. In addition, many return channels from each location has to be delivered to stage. ECCC wanted a digital snake that splits 24 channel from the stage to 3 locations and carry returns from these locations back to stage. " We were looking for a simple plug and play snake that can be connected easily to our existing micpre's. We had to use a single CAT-5 since conduit had no room for bulky analog snakes. The Mamba snake system was perfect fit for our applications and the price for the entire system was 1/3 of competitors", said Paul Peters, Director of Media at ECCC. The system at ECCC included a Stage unit, FoH unit, Mon Mix unit and Simulcast/recording unit. The stage inputs were split to FoH and Monitor mix and Simulcast was daisy chained from FoH. The returns were then combined at FoH and send to Stage. "The NetworkSound team was flexible to configure the system, understood our need and delivered the system in record time. I would recommend Mamba for anyone who is looking for high quality digital snake at an affordable price", Paul continued.
The Mamba is an ideal solution for the Church market because it is inexpensive, easy to setup and manage, while reliably providing professional quality audio distribution. It is the lowest priced 32X16 digital snake on the market, but because it is based on the same MediaNet technology used in NetworkSound’s high end broadcast solutions, the quality and reliability are of the highest standard.
NetworkSound also offers custom plug and play Digital Snakes that can support many different audio formats, including balanced, mic-pre, AES/EBU, SPDIF, and ADAT over a single CAT-5/6 cable. NetworkSound’s MediaNet technology enables synchronous transport of up to 512 X 512 channels of audio at 48 kHz over a single CAT-5/6 up to 100 meters/300 feet, or up to 2 or 20 km in fiber mode, with latency less than 200 micro seconds (I2S-I2S).
