Breakout Box / Patch Bay
The AES/EBU to DB25 patch bay is a simple unit
that allows 16 AES/EBU inputs (32 channels) and
16 AES/EBU outputs (32 channels) on 8 DB25s.
First 4 Db25s support Yamaha AES/EBU pin out
and second set of 4 Db25s support
Tascam/Digidesign AES/EBU DB25 pin out. Each
DB25 has 4 XLR F for 4 AES inputs and 4 XLR M
for 4 AES/EBU outputs. This unit can be connected
via DB25-DB25 (Hosa DBD-300 series costs
approx. $10-$15 for 3 feet DBD-303) to your
AES/EBU DB25 connector on Yamaha AES/EBU
compliant or Tascam/Digidesign products.
