Mamba AES/EBU Digital Snake
The Mamba AES/EBU Digital Snake is an
extension of award winning Mamba digital snake
with AES/EBU digital interface. You can use this
as a simple point to point system to transport up
to 48 x 48 channels (24 x 24 AES) over a single
CAT-5/6 or Fiber. Can also be connected to a
standard Analog Mamba system to mix and match
depending on your application. For example, you
can combine an analog stage box with AES near
your digital mixer at the FoH. Clock sync is
supported with EXT WC input and EXT WC output.
Mamba AES digital snake comes with the same
key features supported in our original Mamba such
as cable (fail over) redundancy, compatibility with
standard Ethernet switches, GbE VLAN, Fiber etc.
The Mamba AES is a compact 1U rack mount and
fits all your 24 x 24 AES digital audio needs using
a single CAT-5/6 cable or Fiber.

The above price does not include DB25 to DB25 or DB25 Yamaha to Tascam cross or DB25 Yamaha cross
cables. You can order them yourself or we can order/ship from our stock to you.
International customers: Shipping charges would be separate based on your location. You are responsible for any
duty and clearance charges. We can ship via USPS for low cost also.

Mix Analog and AES Mamba units
You need to be careful about WC setting on AES side only. Analog Mamba
units will automatically set the clock to sync of other units.
AES/EBU interface on DB25
- TI 74LBC174/175 Line driver and receivers
- 110 ohm terminated per specification
- Pulse AES/EBU transformer isolated

WC Select Switch
Allows you to select External WC or Int WC
EXT WC position will set the AES Mamba box in slave mode
The AES Mamba box will sync to WC input (48K)
Make sure the WC IN is connected and your equipment provides a
WC to AES Mamba box
Only One of the AES Mamba boxes should be set to EXT WC
All other AES Mamba boxes should be Int WC
If you select INT WC then AES Mamba box will be Master and you
need to connect EXT WC out BNC to your equipment EXT WC IN
(your equipment is Slave)

48K/96K selelct Switch
Default setting is 48K.
96K operation for future version TBD
