Press Release:

NetworkSound showcase Intercom over CAT-5 solution with Bexel/Audio Specialist Group at the
National Association of Broadcasters Trade show.

Las Vegas, NV - April 29, 2006:  NetworkSound, a leading provider of multi-channel, real time professional
audio/video over CAT5 solutions, demonstrated an Intercom over a CAT-5 solution at the NAB 2006 show
in association with Bexel/ASG. Bexel is the leading live event organizer such as the Super Bowl and the
Grammys. At the NAB, NetworkSound technology/product was used to send multiple intercom channels
from one system to another system over a single CAT-5 cable with highest audio quality and lowest latency.

NetworkSound’s  MediaNet technology is designed for professional audio/video markets that require the
highest quality and lowest latency possible. Intercom is a natural choice for MediaNet since it requires very
low latency to avoid any side tones during communications. In addition, multiple channels of Intercom can be
sent over a single CAT-5 cable between Intercom switching matrixes or two different Intercom systems from
different manufacturers.  MediaNet also supports fiber for long distances, and has built in automatic cable
redundancy, enabling the Intercom system to function with out any disruption on any cable failure.

The key advantages of MediaNet are:

•        Multiple channels over a single cable (112 channels at 100 Mbps/1024 channels at 1 Gigabit)
•        Multiple compressed and uncompressed video streams over a single CAT-5
•        Latency less than 200 micro-seconds over a 100 meter cable
•        Audio, video and control data are all carried over the same network
•        Multiple media sources with their own clock source supported (video, 5.1/7.1 digital audio)
•        Cost savings achieved by replacing multiple analog cables with a single CAT-5 cable
•        End-to-End digital audio and video to PC and DSP for enhancements in digital domain
•        Computer-based processing tools achieve their maximum potential
•        Large-scale audio networks become easily manageable
•        Programmable, so that different configurations can be loaded by a simple flash change
•        Single low cost ASIC solution for high volume, low cost applications

The demo at the NAB generated lots of interest from visitors and Intercom solution providers. Many of the
visitors said the advantages of single CAT-5 based solution are numerous and ideal for next generation
products. This new technology allows customers to use existing CAT-5 infrastructure to connect Intercom
systems and provide the highest quality at the same time. NetworkSound is committed to support this market
with products and solutions tailored to meet the Intercom market.  For more information about MediaNet
